What is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

The traditional marketing has been changed in last few years based on the technology and the use of internet. Many people like to buy any specific product or service from internet instead of going to the shopping centre now. The main reason behind that is buying something from internet is easy, hassle free and will offer the user to check the range of product or services without spending long time or doing the hard work (walking from shop to shop). As customer, we just to go on internet, open our Google page and search for the product. This is the reason why the business men doesn't know what you are looking for but the Search Engines know about your interest.

Considering this fact, business web sites been updated in such a way that whenever a potential customer looks for certain product or service, search engine robots (kind of programme which is crawling all the web server 24/7 and indexing the content of individual web sites. Other name of this robot is "spider") are collecting the information about the content of the site and when customer is looking for something, search engines are providing the result from the web pages been indexed before to the customer.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) can be done either on page (on site optimisation) or off site optimisation (which is named as back linking sometimes). But the effective SEO includes both on site and off site optimisation. Optimising the website will ensure that Spiders can crawl your pages, can index the content of the page and after that the web site will be presented against the specific search by the customers.

Not necessary your SEO Campaign will have to be very expensive, you can do the organic white hat SEO over a longer period to ensure the visibility of the site on web.
